Grace, unfortunetly, isn't in my family gene pool. We are bound to be clumsy, forever.
years ago in utah, I learned how to Long Board. Now, i have never been good at it. Frankly, I scared going down hill but I love the thrill of it. So last night, my date took me longboarding. . Me, thinking that I am "Pro", because I've long boarded before. Thought it was a fantastic idea to ride down what seemed to be the steepest hill at Tempe Town Lake. It was Perfect, my hair flying in the wind and feeling like I was on top of the world. Once i got close to the bottom, i felt my board became very unstable and almost out of my control. My first and only thought was "Crap, I've gotta get off this thing." And that's is exactly what I did. But going at 20 mhp down hill and deciding that I should just "jump off" is not one of my best Ideas. So as you can imagine, I Flew! Literally! I became very close friends with the cement within seconds. My date Freaked out and graciously ran over to my aide and picked me up.
I guess my assumption of thinking I was "Pro" became facetious. My entire attitude that night was facetious.
I am pretty sure my date has no desire to take me long boarding, ever again. At least I have a gnarly cut on my elbow and a nasty purple bruise on my hip.
hahaha I just laughed really hard at this. I could only imagine you flying off that board. hahahhahaha
